It Don’t Tie Me Down

Cold, cold, cold in Minnesota, but it don’t tie me down…I met for coffee yesterday with  my daughter and a man who, as it turns out is related to me a few generations back, did Christmas shopping for those gifts I need to put in the mail soon, and went to my granddaughter’s piano recital. Car works. We in Minnesota have our cars prepared for sub-temperatures before they  hit each year, keep the gas tank close to full, put in fuel line anti-freeze if it is really cold, and warm the car a while before taking off. We know what to do. And drive slowly.

I wonder how Texans do it.
